When I was younger, I was able to think of a topic or a question and was able to dream about it. Now, no matter how hard I try, I can't do that. Ok, so here is the difference between a stalker and a groupie. A stalker admires from a distance, not really interfearing...well, maybe just a LIL. Tootsie Roll

Ok, so you all know that I'm not really a girly girl. I hate shopping, don't mind getting dirty (lol Dee, Dirrty) and all that. Well, Saturday night we were out and the song Tootsie Roll came on. I smacked Dee on the arm and said, I can do this, and started doing the dance. Dee looked at me and started laughing, "Oh my god! Niki, Miss Metal, is dancing ghetto!" I grinned and said, "Yeah, I told you I know how to move." Which I do, I just prefer not to. I'm just full of surprises!

Alright, normally this time of year, work is slow and I can pretty much take my time on everything. Well, not this year! OMFG! I have so much stuff to do. On top of my ENORMOUS workload, one of the project managers made an oops. Well, let's just say it's the 3rd or 4th major oops this week. These oopses seem to be a norm for him. Well, because of this latest oops, I have tons more work to do ontop of my workload. Yes, I'm bitching. Can't help it. You would be very angry too if you knew what I had to put up with here. *sighs* Well, I guess it could be worse. At least I have a job. Right? Now if only I could find an internship...

Alright, #1 is a follow-up to the pennies post. Technically, my wish came true. There were some minor technicalities, but all in all, it came true. It was a good thing!

#2, when I drive to work, listening to my selected CD for the day, I let my mind wonder. Well, this morning there was a line from The Used's song called "Hard to Say" and the line went like this, "It's hard to say if only" and it got me thinking. If is such a small word, but could mean infinite possibilities. I guess my "What if" would be for a certain someone that I'm afraid to approach. What if I never get the guts to talk to him and miss my chance? Well, then I think of destiny and fate, if we were meant to be, we'll be. *sighs* If.

Pennies

Alright, now I'm sorta superstitious, if you didn't already know. Yesterday, I found a penny head's up. Now, I believe that when you find one head's up, it's good luck, but also, you pick it up with your right hand, make a wish on it then toss it over your left shoulder. If it lands head's up, you pick it back up and your wish is supposed to come true. If it lands head's down, then it wasn't meant to be. Well..........again, I found a penny head's up yesterday evening. I picked it up and made a wish on it (can't tell you what the wish was, or else it won't come true), it landed head's up. I picked it up and placed it in my bra; I didn't have any pockets. So, I forget about it. I'm getting ready for bed last night and the penny falls onto the floor. I curse. But! the penny lands head's up again! I 'woohoo' and pick it up. Make the same wish on it and toss it, once again, over my left shoulder. Lo and behold! It lands head's up once again!! *happy sigh* My wish is going to come true.

Yes, I know, I have weird dreams *g*

Ok, so all I remember was I was in this huge house, a party of some kind was happening, and I picked up a kid, I think he was my roommate's grandson, anyhoo, I pick him up and he says something about my nose. So I put him down and go into the bathroom. I look in the mirror and see that I have a bloody nose. I say, outloud, "Great, now I have a bloody nose," and wake up.

To see blood in your dream, represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments.

To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you. I was at my grandmother’s house, it was night. There was another woman with me, donno who. She was getting into the passenger side of a car and I climbed into the back seat. Before she opened the door she gasped and said something was on the floor. I couldn’t see what it was, but I saw eyes looking at me. I thought it was a raccoon and I kept thinking it was going to bite me and give me rabies. I had a duster thing with a really long handle that I beat the seat with to scare it out of the car, that’s when it jumped at me and landed in the seat, next to me. Then I was holding my left hand on my right shoulder and trying to open the door with my right hand. I then felt something tugging at my thumb fingernail. I faced the animal and realized it was a wolf and it was chewing on my nail. Though it was a wolf, I knew it was a werewolf and kept saying don’t bite me as I got out of the car. I ran to the house and got inside. All of a sudden there were 2 other people and a dog running to get inside the house. I was holding open the door and telling them to hurry. The werewolf was going crazy and running around all over the place. It saw the door open and charged at it. I kept kicking my leg and yelling no, no, no! I woke up and I kicking my leg.

Meanings:

Being in the backseat of a car indicates that I’m putting myself down and allowing others to take over. It’s a result of low self-esteem or low self-confidence. It’s an indication of dependence and lack of control over my own life. Since the car was parked, it means that I need to turn my efforts and energies elsewhere; I’m spending energy in a fruitless endeavor. But it could also mean I need to stop and enjoy my life.

To have a dream that it’s night means major setbacks and obstacles in achieving goals. There are issues in my life that I have to face that aren’t clear. I need to put them aside and clear my head before I look at the issues again to solve them. Night could also mean the end of something and a new beginning.

A raccoon means deceit, thievery and false friends. So, I think it’s a raccoon but it’s a wolf. (I think I’m being deceived or someone’s not my friend?) A wolf symbolizes beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. Ability to keep my composure in a variety of social situations and can blend in with ease and grace. A loner by choice. But on the flip side, it represents hostility and aggression. Could reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in my life.

A werewolf means that something in my life is not what it seems. It means fear, repressed anger and uncontrollable violence.

A thumb means that I need to get a grip on things. It’s a symbol of power and ability. A long thumbnail means that I will be lured into evil by seeking strange illicit pleasures (LOL, I can think of a few illicit pleasusres and with who). Chewing on my nails means a problem that is too tough to handle or unsure on resolving a situation in my life.

Holding the door open, since it’s to the outside, means that I need to be more accessible to others.

Kicking someone means suppressed aggression that I’m unable to express in my life. (Since I’m kicking at the wolf/werewolf I have aggression for not knowing something that’s in my life?)

Tattoos

Friday, Dee and I, and maybe Sil, are getting tattooed. It's going to be my fifth and Dee's first. I think it's Sil's first too. I can't wait! I still can't decide which I want though. There are two that I want right now, but which one first.
The one on top is a Celtic design. It's a combination of Celtic knots and a goddess symbol. I want to get it on the back of my neck. Below that is "Cywir in Gwlad" which is Welsh and means, "By Following the Truth," the meaning of my last name. I want to get that around my right wrist. Dee suggested that I get the Celtic moons and next time get the meaning. That's what I'll probably do. If I had the money, I'd get them both at the same time. LOL.

Make Up

Alright...so Dee and I were at Sephora, a makeup place that has nice stuff. Well, Dee was on line to pay for her stuff so I was wondering around looking at the perfumes. This lady came over to me and asked if I needed any help looking for anything. I said, "No, but thank you." She paused and looked me over. I was wearing my typical jeans, sweater, leather jacket and no makeup. Well, this woman says, "We do have a special going on. It's free, of course, and it will show you the proper way to apply makeup." I almost laughed in her face. I said, "Ah, no. Just because I don't wear makeup doesn't mean I don't know how to put it on," and walked away from her. I was laughing as I told Dee. I mean, come on people! The only time I really put on makeup is when I'm going out to a bar or a club or something like that. But this chick looked at me like she was appalled that I wasn't wearing makeup. I don't think that I'm ugly or that I need makeup all the time. So, I guess this lady felt that she was doing me a favor by letting me know they had a free special on how to apply makeup. I'll tell you what, I went back there and this is what I looked like after I left Sephoras. Thanks guys!!!!!

Ok, thanks to Dee, I am hooked! There's a Jersey band called The Benjamins. I just got their cd. It's good! I saw them on New Years Eve and brought in the new year with them. They rocked! Now, just an example on how much I enjoy their music: I'm going to see them this Sat, then next Thursday! LOL. Too bad I didn't live closer to where they play. I keep having to crash at Dee's.

Woohoo, today is payday. Money is a wonderful thing.

I'm working on Taming still. Getting along nicely. Getting up to the action stuffs now. I thought it was finished, but it didn't feel finished. Something kept nagging at me. Soooooooo, I went through it to edit and wham! It hit me! I guess I had a slight writer's block, but that wall has been knocked down! I hate being so busy at work. I really want to work on my story! *growls* Bastards.

Well, here we are again. Monday. Well, at least it's pay week. Not that my paycheck is anything exciting. Still waiting on my raise that I was supposed to get last June. What ever. My internship should be starting soon...when I find one. Notice how I didn't say 'if'. I know I will get one, and it will be a paid internship. Sorry peoples, this woman has bills she needs to pay!
Well, let's see. Anything exciting happening in my life.........um, nope! SSDD (same shit, different day). Classes start again on the 23rd. Still haven't gotten my grades. Big surprise there. Note to all you grad students out there...do NOT go to Long Island Uni. THEY SUCK MAJOR ARSE!

Ok, well...if you didn't already know, I have a bad stomach. I have to be careful on what I consume. I haven't had a good deli sandwich or any type of chips. Well, this morning I had a dream that I was eating a huge hero with a bag of potato chips! I told my friend Dee, and she said, "LOL, only you!"

*sighs* I guess many of us dream of things we can't have or what we want. Me....I dream of food!
